I should apologize to the owners of this restaurant that I am taking so much time to write this review.
But anyways, while driving back from FL to up north, we needed to make a stop somewhere in the I-95 area near south of Richmond.
We tried to find any Halal place that would be open that we could pick up some food by the time we reach in the area, but were unable to find any restaurant that would be open by the time we arrive. This was the only place open around 10PM, but our hotel was out of the way for their delivery service. We explained our predicament to the owner, and they graciously agreed to not only deliver food, to a place which was far from their place, but also deliver it after their closing time. When we reached our hotel it was after midnight, and our food was waiting for us in the hotel. This was all arranged over the phone, we never have set foot in the restaurant, but would love to visit this place some time in future.
Even though it have been a year since then, but our families still remember that generosity of this place who accommodated our request.
Now about the food, not only their service was beyond excellent, their food was even better. The Chaplee Kabob, the Lamb shank, Qaubili Palau , chicken kabob and all the vegetarian dishes were simply scrumptious. Our entire family of 9 enjoyed this food and still remember the service. -

Bouranee Baunjaun says fried eggplant but egg plant was not fried.
Afghan Chaplee Kabob and Boneless Chicken Kabob were delicious
Mr. Shaw (the name i picked up from what he told me) was the all in all. Sunday evening. Things were a little slow. But very clean place. -

Absolutely delicious leg of lamb with veggies & a side of seasoned rice. A frequent eater of leg of lamb, I usually get a dry piece of meat on the bone. This was juicy, hot, just perfectly seasoned. The menu is very diverse, good for different tastes. Loved it, will return.

Great food, very tasty and juicy kababs served at this location. The food is always fresh and the place is not always too busy. My only concern is that call in orders aren't prepared before you go. They start on them upon your arrival. I personally don't know why they do that. Still, I loooove their food

True authentic afghan food! This restaurant has great service with even better food. I tried the chicken kabob and the qabali palau. I would recommend both these dishes- full of flavor and large portions! Food does take a little bit to cook but it's worth the wait.
